A two-step water based crackle varnish that dries clear, making it ideal for creating a cracked porcelain or aged, crackled effect over painted decorative designs or plain basecoated surfaces.It is great for acrylic and picture crackling techniques. It is recommended to use the dry brush horizontally for evenly distribution. Apply two coats of basecoat (Step 1) evenly to surface and allow to dry apply one coat of Step 2 evenly. Fine cracks will appear on drying. Enchance the cracks by rubbing in artists oil paint. Wipe off excess oil, allow to dry for 24 hrs seal with solvent based varnish.The product itself is transparent and better for bigger crackles. Non toxic.
