Being thin in nature than the regular acrylic plates it easily allows the folder to pass through the machine without any obstruction.
To make the sandwich : First, keep the regular acrylic plate then keep the embossing folder with the paper inside it and then close the sandwich with this thin plate and roll through the machine and here you have the perfectly embossed results.
